question 8

Can recent college graduates expect to be project managers right away? What is a typical career path for a project manager Using the Internet, research the average salary of a PM in South Florida.  Is this for an experienced project manager?  Which sites (URL) did you use to find average salaries?

No. I don't think college graduates can be project managers right away. I believe that to be a Project Manager you need to acquire certain level of training, because the success or failure of the organization relies on you. Project Managers have various responsibilities; such as:

*Planing, executing and closing projects

*Managing Teams
*Managing Expectations

The average salary for a PM in South Florida with 7 yrs of experience on the field is over 89K, according to www.salary.com

  2. Yes training comes with experience so its always good to note that, but I am in agreement. Project manager comes with a lot of responsibilities and one would hope to achieve this position with the training and experience one recieved.
