Why do you think
organizations should develop their own information technology project
management methodologies? Why can’t they just follow a book or a methodology
that has already been developed?
It would be easier to follow a methodology that has already been developed, but we believe that every company should create their own methodology; Therefore, every company has different goals or interest that they want to achieve; as well as the internal areas of the organization.

Yep and an organization having their own methodologies will make it easier for project managers to know how to cater to their stakeholders better.
